Root Chakra · Muladhara
I am grounded. I am safe. I am home within myself.
The Root Chakra, also called Muladhara, relates to your sense of safety and stability. It is connected to your basic needs, your physical body, and your feeling of belonging in the world.
When this center is balanced, you may feel steady, supported, and present in your daily life. When it feels out of balance, you might notice fear, restlessness, or a sense of being ungrounded.
This week is an invitation to slow down, reconnect with your body, and remember that you are supported. We begin at the foundation, gently strengthening your roots so everything else can grow from a place of stability.

Integration Practice: Grounded Presence
You do not need long practices to feel more grounded. A few quiet minutes can make a meaningful difference. This week, try this simple practice once a day.
Sit or stand with both feet resting on the floor.
Take a slow breath in, and a slow breath out.
Bring your attention to your legs and feet. Notice the feeling of the floor beneath you.
If it feels natural, imagine your feet connecting to the ground below, like strong roots anchoring you in place. There is nothing you need to force. Simply allow yourself to feel supported.
Gently repeat to yourself:
I am supported.
I am safe in this moment.
I belong here.
Optional ways to deepen the experience:
Spend a few minutes walking outside.
Step barefoot onto grass or soil if that feels comfortable.
Hold a small stone in your hand as a reminder of steadiness.
Light a natural, woodsy scent and take a few slow breaths.
Let this be a quiet reset. A pause in your day to return to your body and steady yourself before moving forward.

Journal Prompts
Where in my life do I feel most safe, supported, and rooted?
What practices, people, or places help me return to this feeling?
Are there areas where I feel ungrounded or unstable right now?
What might my body or spirit be asking for to restore that foundation?
What messages have I received about safety, survival, or stability — and which of those no longer serve me?
What new belief am I ready to root into instead?
How do I respond to stillness and slowness?
Do I allow myself moments to pause, breathe, and simply be?
If I imagined myself as a tree, what would my roots look like?
What nourishes them? What grounds me deeply into the life I’m building?
As you move through this week, keep this simple truth in mind:
You are supported.
You are safe in this moment.
Your body is not something separate from you. It is your home.
Pause for a breath. Notice your feet on the floor. Notice the steadiness beneath you.
There is nowhere else you need to be right now.
A space for integration awaits at the end of your journey.
